Five rules for a habit goal

  1. Specific. Say what, when and how long.
  2. Small. Doable on your worst day.
  3. Scheduled. Choose the days, including rest days.
  4. Cued. Attach it to something you already do.
  5. Reviewed. Check weekly and adjust.

An example

Goal: build stamina. Habit: after work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, jog and walk for 20 minutes. Minimum: ten minutes. Reminder: 6:00 pm. In Jeevan, set the days and an alarm for the habit in under a minute.
